The Pilot in Two Cards

A specific problem. A measurable outcome.

Tax leaders don''t need another general-purpose AI demo. They need a discrete deliverable that survives an audit conversation. That''s exactly what this pilot produces.

!

The problem

Small to mid-market tax teams sit on tens of thousands of SKUs, product codes, and master-data items with inconsistent or missing taxability classifications. Manual review is slow. General-purpose AI hallucinates jurisdictional rules. Audit exposure compounds quietly.

The outcome

In 8 weeks, we classify up to 500 of your items across selected jurisdictions, deliver an accuracy benchmark against your current state, and quantify your exposure. You keep the dataset and the analysis — pilot or no continuation.

8-Week Pilot Cadence

Four phases. Zero ambiguity.

Every design partner moves through the same defined cadence so we can compare results across the cohort and you always know what''s next.

WEEKS 1–2

Kickoff & Data Intake

2-hour scoping session. Define jurisdictions, sample dataset transfer (anonymized acceptable), accuracy targets agreed in writing. Week 2 covers data ingestion and a "ready to run" checkpoint.

WEEKS 3–5

Classification Run

Up to 500 items processed. Each classification carries a confidence score, jurisdictional flag, and reasoning trace for audit defensibility. Mid-pilot check-in at end of week 4.

WEEKS 6–7

Benchmark & Exposure

Side-by-side comparison against your current state. Exposure quantified by jurisdiction. Disagreements worked through with your tax team — not handed over as a pile of flags.

WEEK 8

Results & Roadmap Input

Live walkthrough. You keep the dataset and report. We capture your roadmap input. Continuation discussion is optional, never assumed.

The Trade

What you receive. What we ask in return.

Design partner status isn''t a discount label — it''s a working relationship with mutual obligations. Here''s exactly what each side puts in.

You receive
  • 500 items classified with taxability codes, jurisdictional flags, and confidence scores
  • Accuracy benchmark report vs. your current state with exposure quantification
  • Direct roadmap input — features, integrations, and reporting prioritized around your stack
  • 50% discount on first-year subscription if you continue, locked at design-partner pricing
  • Named case study credit at your option — or remain fully anonymous
We ask in return
  • 4–6 hours of tax leader time across 8 weeks — kickoff, mid-pilot review, results walkthrough
  • Sample dataset of up to 500 items with current taxability mappings (anonymized acceptable)
  • Honest feedback on accuracy, workflow fit, and what would make you a paying customer
  • Pilot fee of $7,500 — refunded in full if accuracy targets are not met
  • Mutual NDA executed before any data transfer
